Meet Coach Bea

Individual transformation is my personal commitment.

--Bea Hughes, At One Coaching

Background
"I have been coaching throughout my life and have used that experience to springboard my career as a transformational coach."

Bea developed a rock solid foundation in personal and professional development through her career in Executive Leadership positions from Seattle Society for Human Resources Management, Bellevue College and Seattle City Light.

Credentials & Training
In addition to her career and life experience, Bea has:

  • An International Coach Federation (ICF) credential of Associate Certified Coach (ACC)
  • Graduated from an intensive one-year Accomplishment Coaching ontological coach training program
  • Mentored and trained new coaches in Seattle for two years, and in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for one year
  • Certifications in CVI and EQ
  • A Masters in Public Administration
  • Certifications in Global Human Resources & Strategic Human Resources

Her work with clients - via Skype, phone and in-person - to better balance, rejuvenate and thrive is a natural extension of her finely honed career skillsets, and her experience as executive, mother, spouse and community member.

A Global Citizen
"I consider myself to be a global citizen. I am connected with the World Affairs Council, often host foreign exchange students; spent a year training executive coaches in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with Accomplishment Coaching; and volunteer my coaching services to women in the Professional Women's Group at the YWCA of Seattle."

Her Work with Clients
Many clients come to Bea feeling:

  • Stuck, uncertain or lost, personally and/or professionally
  • Out of balance, out of control and disconnected
  • Deprived due to neglecting themselves and possibly their dreams and goals
  • Unable to move beyond a relationship, an incident, a sudden or dramatic change

Through awareness and action, clients create unprecedented and sustainable results, and learn new skills in a safe, calm and inspiring environment.

Those who work with Bea refer to her as being a gentle, insightful and committed support. They often say she "guides them to feel capable, resourceful and whole."

A More Personal Note
"I live close to the beach in the Alki neighborhood of West Seattle with my husband and yellow lab. The water and beach inspire me and nourish my soul."

When she's not engaged with clients, you can find Bea visiting with her two grown sons, walking on the beach, sailing on the bay, playing piano, exercising or having coffee with friends.

"Working with clients to harness their own intuitive knowing and step into action feeds my life."
